Operator Error

Imagine my surprise when I receieved an email from Dreamhost, my beloved website hosting company, this morning, saying that, not only did I owe them lots and lots of money, but that attempts to bill my credit card for those buttloads of money had failed. Understandably, I panicked a bit. Attempts to access their site to find out what the eff was up were in vain, as the site was down as well. Eventually, I was able to access the Dreamhost blog, where Josh Jones posted an apology and explanation. Apparently it was all his fault.

You gotta love a company that says, "Yup, I fucked up. Sorry about that." And you double gotta love a company that says it accompanied by a photo of Homer Simpson and a still from Office Space. Dreamhost, I heart you. Now and forever.

P.S. All of the humorless asswipes who left comments on the Dreamhost blog bitching about the fact that an error was made, fixed immediately, and explained in a humorous fashion, not to mention the fact that NO ONE WAS ACTUALLY EVER CHARGED, should chill the fuck out, in my humble opinion. The end.
