It's Here!

So, last night was the American Idol premiere. Curly and I watched it at Mejack's. We liveblogged, with Melissa, newest Midol crew member on IM. She liveblogged, too.

Anyway, there was this batshit crazy contestant named Alexis Cohen. I'd have thought she was a fake, except that she's studying to be a veterinarian and those people are often strange. After bombing her audition, swearing profusely and dogging Simon when he wasn't even mean to her, she apparently muttered, "I'm going for actressing." I missed this. Later, on IM:

Melissa: P.S. I'm going for actressing.

Me: (Puzzled) You are?

A couple of minutes later.

Me: Oh! Ha! I totally missed that the first time around. Just caught the replay.

Melissa: Ha ha, no!

Me: I was all, "Wow, Melissa's really opening up to me during the Idol premiere."

Melissa: HAHAHA! I've got gas and I'm just getting over a yeast infection. How's that? OH -- and I'm going for actressing.
