Zach: Suicidal Tendencies is one of my all-time favorite bands. I'm pissed Robbie joined Metallica.
 
Me: Don't diss Metallica. Robbie is yummy.
 
Zach: Never was and never will be a huge Metallica fan. Does that ruin our future together?
 
Me: It might.

Zach: Hey, I have no problem if you want to parade around our apartment in your faded Metallica T-shirts. I'm all about compromise.

Me: Good. I love a man who can compromise. If by compromise you mean let me have my way all the time.
 
Zach: I'm not sure letting you have your own way ALL the time is good for "us." Wouldn't it be better to openly discuss things that will impact us both? If I let you have your way I am likely to end up bent over the bed in a compromising position.
